Developer: Saroar Khandoker (byalif.app)
FixLog is a local-first application. All your data — homes, rooms, appliances, service records, receipts, warranties, and reminders — is stored locally on your device using Apple SwiftData.
If you have iCloud enabled, FixLog syncs your data across your Apple devices using Apple CloudKit (private database). This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is not accessible to us or any third party.
We do not collect or store any personal data. FixLog does not require an account, email address, or login. The only data sent to our servers is anonymous usage analytics (see Analytics section below).
Our landing page (fixlog.byalif.app) uses self-hosted Plausible Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated page view data with no cookies and no personal data collection.
The FixLog app collects anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the product. This includes:
This data is sent to our self-hosted analytics server. No personally identifiable information is collected. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across other apps or websites.
FixLog may request camera and photo library access to capture receipt images. These photos are stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account. They are never uploaded to our servers.
FixLog uses local notifications for maintenance reminders and warranty expiration alerts. These are scheduled on your device and do not involve any external push notification servers.
Subscription and lifetime purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not process or store any payment information.
You can export all your data as PDF or CSV at any time. To delete all data, simply delete the app from your device. Your iCloud data can be managed through your Apple ID settings.
